The Egyptian Government Portal provides the services offered by different ministries through the Internet. You can easily and quickly access the service you want, and know the official papers needed from your side to have your service done.
Services available through the portal are classified by the service type, not by the ministry that provides the service. This makes it easier for the user (e.g. a citizen, company, investor, etc.) to reach the service in question, regardless of your knowledge of the ministry providing it.
The portal is divided into different sections. To navigate through these sections, simply click on the menu.

Click About E-Government menu item to know what is the E-Government intiative, its objectives, and policies.

Services
Press the Services menu and select the service user (Citizen Services, Company Services, Investor Services, Foreigner Services, Supplier Services), then select the service category you want. For example, select the Services menu, then Citizen Services, then select the category My Family to know the papers required for issuing important papers and certificates like birth and death, identity card extraction, marriage and divorce contracts, passports, and required papers by schools and universities.
You can simply perform this either through selecting the required service in the Services menu, or through clicking the service icon on the icon bar (positioned under the menu bar) to display the service page.
Moreover, the portal provides you with a set of online services. The services currently available are traffic infringements and electricity bill inquiry services, as well as, telephone bill inquiry and payment.

Resources
Click Resources menu and select the resources you want from (Laws and constitutes) to read about some of the Egyptian laws or (Useful links) to know some useful sites on the Internet.
